Anthropology student Lauren Marks Bowman interviewed Dr. Don Nelson, Professor of Anthropology, about his involvement with the Institute for Resilient Infrastructure Systems (IRIS) and his work on community-based resilience projects. This interview was conducted as part of the Vertically Integrated Research Project’s (VIPR) Luminous Room Film Production Group for their documentary film, which highlights resilience efforts across the American South in response to climate-related events. The film is slated to finish filming in the summer of 2026. Keep an eye out for campus screenings and the film's entry to the film festival circuit in the following months.
