Graduation Celebration Spring 2025!

-
Miller Learning Center, Room 101 (48 Baxter Street, Athens, GA 30602)

The Department of Anthropology is pleased to invite all recent or pending graduates - Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 - and their guests to join faculty and staff at the Anthropology Undergraduate Graduation Celebration! There is no limit to the number of guests you may invite or bring. Refreshments will be provided.

  • Date: Friday, May 9th (same day as official UGA Commencement)
  • Time: 1:00-2:30 PM
  • Location: Miller Learning Center, Room 101

During this event, you can expect to hear something that you won't hear at the official UGA Commencement- your name! We want to share your accomplishments at the ceremony, but we need your help doing so! The RSVP link below is a form that asks for the number of guests you are bringing, and additional information such as your plans for after you graduate, memorable moments from your time at UGA, etc., to include in the Celebration PowerPoint.

We also welcome any photos that you are willing to share (these can be causal shots with you and your friends, pictures from gameday or other campus events, study abroad, or pictures with you and your family, etc). Please self censor- clothing is required and no photos of illegal behavior. Remember that your parent(s) and/or other graduates grandparent(s) are in attendance 🙂 These photos will only be shown on the PowerPoint at the event and can be uploaded in the RSVP form.

RSVP here to the May 9 Graduation Celebration by April 30th.
