Archaeological Institute of America Inaugural Program with Drs. Danielle Riebe and Jennifer Birch

Online (EST)

The AIA-Coalition for Archaeological Synthesis (CfAS) working group has developed a new conference format called Quick Takes: Big Archaeological Topics in 5min or Less to explore concepts with critical implications in the field of archaeology and disseminate information for the AIA meetings and beyond.

Co-organized by Dr. Danielle Riebe, the Archaeological Institute of America inaugural program showcases nine videos of scholars, including Dr. Jennifer Birch, working in a variety of places and time periods. Their contributions discuss various types of big datasets and the different approaches that they take to analyze, curate, and disseminate these data.

The "Quick Takes Forum" will be on October 26th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Participation in the Forum is free, but registration is required. Learn more about "Quick Takes-Take #1:Big Datasets in Archaeology" and register here.
