Dr. Jennifer Birch Announces Phase II of the Dating Iroquoia Project

The Dating Iroquoia team is thrilled to announce the commencement of an exciting new phase of research, focused on exploring the sixteenth-century depopulation of the St. Lawrence River Valley.

These gold objects include bracelets, dress appliqués, a miniature diadem, pendants and a scepter. They were found in Varna, Bulgaria, and indicate hierarchy and status.
