My research involves elements of social-ecological sustainability and looks at how a plurality of human values interact in the context of biodiversity conservation and sustainable livelihoods in changing climates. Specifically, I’m interested in how humans interact with nature and enact social-ecological values in relation to themselves, others, and the surrounding environment.
